Job Title: Bistro/Catering Cook

Pay: $12-13/Hour, Part Time

Schedule: Various hours including weekends, nights & holidays

Department: Events/Food and Beverage

Reports to:  Catering Chef

The Leonardo is looking for a Bistro/Catering Cook to join our team and mission. This person will have the knowledge and ability to help with dishwashing, cook preparation, and customer service for the Bistro and be a go-to problem solver. The ideal candidate has a background in food service and strong attention to detail.

 Responsibilities:

• Washing dishes and cleaning the back of the house.
• Be able to perform a variety of small duties such as prepping foods, organizing, and removal of trash.
• Follow prep lists and additional responsibilities provided by the Chef/Food and Beverage Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and dish area.
• Could be cross-trained to work in other “on-call” catering positions if desired.
• May work some shifts during which alcohol will be consumed by guests.
• Follow and adhere to all alcohol compliance laws.
• Serving guests of the Bistro
• Making coffee and other various drinks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Sips and Tips REQUIRED
• Must be 21 to apply.
• Current Food Handlers Permit REQUIRED.
• Dishwasher experience is required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Catering/Restaurant experience preferred.
