BISTRO CASHIER
PART-TIME, FALL & SPRING SEMESTERS, $14.90-15.69/HOUR

SCOPE OF WORK: Operates the cash register in the White Mountains Community College bistro and assists in preparing a variety of foods as needed. This position reports directly to the Bistro Supervisor.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Operates cash register, rings out at end of day.
- Prepares daily coffee set up, replenishes, and breaks down.
- Replenishes supplies, to include plasticware, napkins, condiments, etc.
- Stocks and inventories all beverage coolers and vending machines.
- Assists in preparing for functions.
- Assists the Cook and Bistro Supervisor as needed.
- Assists with cleaning of kitchen and dining area; washes dishes.
- Works in cooperation with the Culinary Arts program labs when necessary.
- Complies with all college, system, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma, G.E.D. or its equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: ServSafe certification preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the food service industry and handling money preferred.
RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS: No specialized knowledge, skills or abilities required, except clean personal health and sanitation habits. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the college appointing authority.
