Job Details
The role provides leadership and accountability for clinical practice and operational functions within the assigned area, ensuring 24-hour oversight. It focuses on maintaining the quality of both direct and indirect patient care through collaboration with staff, colleagues, administration, physicians, and other departments. The position involves effective management of material, fiscal, and human resources, with appropriate delegation and critical thinking to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and population-specific care. Responsibilities also include adherence to organizational policies, regulatory and accreditation standards, and professional practice guidelines. Additionally, the role participates in strategic planning and service growth initiatives to drive improvement and implementation.
Education and Work Experience:
o Birthing Center – satisfactory completion of EFM course with three months of service and NRP within six months of service required; ACLS within six months of hire.

Education and Work Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Nursing education.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or in progress of obtaining a BSN.
- Current licensure to practice professional Nursing in the State of Ohio.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required
- Certification in specialty area(s) preferred and/or
o Birthing Center – satisfactory completion of EFM course with three months of service and NRP within six months of service required; ACLS within six months of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in medical/surgical and/or applicable specialty required.
- Previous management experience of one or more units in related specialty area(s) preferred.
