Job Description

This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals starting their industrial career, looking for hands-on experience in bioprocessing. We foster a collaborative team environment, where teamwork and communication are key to our success. The candidate must be open to a flexible schedule, which requires working weekends (Saturday and Sunday) making a total work week of 3 Weekdays and 2 Weekend days (40 Hour Work Week).

Responsibilities

• Perform chromatographic recombinant protein and antibody purification using FPLCs.
• Follow work schedules and perform technical benchwork for ongoing projects.
• Maintain accurate lab records, report inventories, and communicate results to the manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflows and meet project deadlines.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and replenishing lab supplies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field required.
• Basic training in biological and biochemical experiments in a wet lab environment.
• Experience with the Cytiva AKTA system or other FPLC systems for protein purification is preferred.
• Understanding of recombinant protein purification principles and techniques.
• Problem-solving skills in wet lab environments.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documentation.
• Open to a flexible schedule, including working the weekend while maintaining a five-day work week.
