Role: Biomedical Engineer
Location: Irving, TX - 75038
Duration: 12 Months on W2
Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM

Job Description:
Possesses educational qualifications and work experience as established by engineering schools, employers, and licensing authorities for employment in the various disciplines of engineering, i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Quality, etc.
Required Skills:

• Knowledge of layout design for medical devices, including laboratory dimensions, input devices, centrifuges, analyzers, and refrigerators. Ability to review and position these devices within the layout.
• Ideal to have experience in biomedical field.
• Combination of engineering background and clinical or medical experience.
• Ability to review and forward automation designs/layouts to manufacturers.
• Strong writing skills for creating service documentation and manuals.
• Experience with Vivio software, as the majority of the work is performed on this platform.
• Design skills for making annotations on layouts.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  

Education and Experience:

• A degree in biomedical engineering is highly preferred, but other engineering degrees are acceptable if accompanied by clinical laboratory knowledge.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
