About the Job
Our Blood Institute (OBI) is seeking a BIODATA PROJECTS MANAGER for its Oklahoma City headquarters location. Under the direction of the CEO and/or designees, the Biodata Project Manager (BPM) conceives, organizes, leads, delivers, and summarizes multi-departmental initiatives that leverage testing results, documentable behaviors, marketing responses and other objective inputs for analyses. Chosen in consultation with the CEO and other executive leaders, these projects will be pursued with the intent of yielding relevant insights and increased stakeholder engagement for the benefit of blood center operations. The position will illuminate new understandings from medical, immunohematology laboratory, bio-development, BioLinked, Donable, public health, marketing, blood production, and/or other institutional activities.
Findings derived from specific projects will be published internally and externally in various formats and channels to improve brand awareness and institution reputation for OBI. Projects will be selected to create more efficient and impactful outcomes in support of corporate strategies and tactics. Collaboration with other blood centers, health care providers, and community organizations is anticipated. Onboarding new capabilities and knowledge sets to advance OBI's mission will be encouraged.
Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Qualifications:
- Post secondary degrees in biologic science and information technology
- Willingness to work on site (in person), as needed w/o limitation
- Strong computer/technology skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Self-starting and self-actualizing work skills
- Advanced problem-solving aptitude
- Good interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor/deportment, integrity, reliability, and adaptability.
- Computer programming skills are a plus
- Teaching experience is a plus
- Experience in blood center or plasma centers is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Explore preliminarily the feasibility of suggested projects
- Map projects with promise and pull together stakeholders for feedback and further design refinement
- Help draft, finalize, publish and distributed formal project plans
- Coordinate the implementation and execution of project plans
- Maintain project cohesion through updates, dashboard metrics, meetings/calls, and other proactive endeavors
- Adhere to established project timelines
- Suggest project modifications, as may be needed to improve performance and outcomes.
- Maintain performance standards, work quality, and data integrity for projects
- Record critical processes, interventions, and other steps comprising project "Methods."
- Deliver comprehensive and comprehensible data sets for analysis
- Perform data analyses alone and collaboratively to surface insights of value to the organization
- Prepare findings for presentation to a variety of audiences.
- Publish and present findings to a variety of audiences, as directed
