Bindery Operator - 2nd Shift - Essentra

About the Job
We are currently recruiting for a Bindery Operator to join our team. As a Bindery Operator. you will be responsible for packing inserts from the folding equipment into trays, bundles and other configurations per master specifications error free. Functions also include in-process inspection of product being produced to ensure overall quality, completing required paperwork and making entries into the computer system.
Key Responsibilities
Load machine with printed material
Successfully complete Line Purge/Line Clearance training
Take finished product off the folding machines
Make trays and cases needed for various jobs
Pack product into trays and cases error free
Complete all necessary paperwork
Fills information on board as required
Alerts mechanic to process problems
Clears minor jams
Cleans area and machine at end of shift
Other duties as assigned
Skills, qualifications and/or experience:
HS graduate or equivalent required
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required, will train
Excellent communicator both orally and written, able to read, write, and speak English
A team player with the ability to work productively and easily with others
Ability to work well and calmly under pressure
Excellent attention to detail
Dependable, flexible and approachable
Able to work overtime as needed
