Founded in 1981 as a non-union electrical contracting firm to penetrate and capitalize on the need for quality electrical contracting services in the commercial construction industry of Los Angeles. The Company emerged in the early 1990’s as a major player in the market successfully completing projects ranging from $100,000 to $12,000,000. The Company continued to build its operating and financial strength throughout the 1990’s when it was able to capitalize on the “dot-com boom” for electrical contractors, peaking at over 400 employees.
With the Internet crash severely impacting the construction industry, the Company retrenched to our core business and continued to build our market share in commercial, healthcare, hospitality, public works and high rise residential segments. We continue to expand our client base with a list of notable clients while emphasizing its core business model; the repeat customer. The company moved to its present location in 1998 where the facilities have been continually expanded and improved for its increasing operations.

Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BIM Technician to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination, Revit, AutoCAD, Electrical Design, Lighting Systems, Lighting Design, and Fire Alarm Systems. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining BIM models, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BIM models for various projects
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Provide technical support to project teams
- Review and analyze project requirements and specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Create and maintain project documentation
- Perform clash detection and resolution
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of BIM models
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination utilizing Revit and AutoCad
- Strong knowledge of BIM software and tools
- Experience with electrical design - Lighting and Fire Alarm is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
