A BIM Modeler/Technician to serve as a single point of contact between field, BIM team, and the shop for BIM projects.

- Associates Degree or higher
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge and ability to read and understand design and construction documents
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly
- Experience using or exposure to Revit
Job Responsibilities:
Reports to a Team Lead
- Serve as a single Point of Contact between Field, BIM team and Shop for BIM Projects.
- Must Communicate with Engineers, Field Foreman, Project Managers, & General Contractors.
- Works with Foreman to develop internal schedules and ensures deadlines are hit with high quality drawings.
- Assisting GF with RFIs.
- Attends Kick-off, Design and Fab Meetings and offer Valuable input.
- Creating a positive team environment by maintaining contact with the construction and prefab teams.
- Has the Ability to Populate a Majority of a Model with-out field MSOPs up to date with changes and offering input in BIM Development.
- Prepare BIM drawings for the project documentation and receive updates from engineers and designers as the design develops.
- Updates also are received from field personnel as coordination continues. Create 3D BIM drawings from 2D plans accurately displaying the intended electrical installation.
- Create detail installation and prefabrication drawings that include assembly directions.
- Attend coordination meetings with other trades including travel to and sometimes work at remote job sites.
- Setup Navisworks file and incorporate other trades models.
- Create clash detection sets in Navisworks with other building systems involved in the BIM process.
