We are seeking a skilled and motivated BIM Administrator/Manager to join our team in a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, ensuring the integration of technology across multiple project teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall management, direction, and implementation of BIM processes, utilizing Autodesk products related to BIM and GIS (including Revit, BIM 360, and Build).
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of BIM teams, ensuring that BIM workflows are followed, and project goals are met.
- Implement and refine best practices for BIM, GIS, and related technologies, ensuring quality, efficiency, and accuracy across all stages of project execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful integration and coordination of BIM into all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams on the use of BIM software and tools, fostering professional development within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any BIM-related technical issues to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Support the development and maintenance of BIM standards, protocols, and templates, ensuring consistency across projects.
- Facilitate and manage training programs for staff and teams on BIM software, processes, and updates.
- Assist in the preparation of BIM deliverables, ensuring adherence to client specifications and industry standards.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging BIM technologies and innovations into existing workflows to improve processes and outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Aviation, Business, Planning, or a related technical field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- Junior Level (0-5 years): Familiarity with BIM processes and tools, ideally in an internship or entry-level position. Strong technical skills in Autodesk products (Revit, Build, etc.) and a passion for the development and application of BIM methodologies.
- Mid-Level (5-15 years): Proven experience in project management or business development, specifically in BIM and GIS technologies. Strong understanding of the BIM lifecycle, data management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Senior Level (15+ years): Extensive experience in BIM management, with a history of leading complex projects and teams. Demonstrated success in implementing BIM processes at a strategic level, with a deep understanding of both technical and organizational challenges.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced skills in Autodesk products such as Revit, Build, and BIM 360.
- Experience with GIS platforms and data integration within BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-based BIM collaboration tools (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Navisworks, etc.).
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Autodesk Revit or similar BIM-related credentials.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with data management and integration in BIM and GIS environments.
- Familiarity with advanced features in Revit and BIM 360, such as clash detection, coordination, and project management functionalities.
Compensation:
$62k-$156k
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
