Job Overview:
Are you proficient, detail-oriented, and passionate about financial health? Join us as a Billing Specialist, where your role goes beyond oversight—it's about making a significant impact. Reporting to our Client Experience Manager, you'll play a crucial part in managing our billing system, ensuring paid-in-full accounts reach a zero balance within specified timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debt Recovery: Utilize your financial acumen to identify historical accounts requiring attention, rectifying discrepancies to improve our financial standing.
- Payment Resolution and Customer Engagement: Engage proactively with customers to establish feasible payment plans, fostering positive relationships and supporting our financial objectives.
- Account Management: Take ownership of accounts post-event, ensuring timely payments and collaborating seamlessly with the sales team for successful resolutions.
- Exceptional Communication: Your ability to convey complex information clearly will be instrumental in building enduring relationships with clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our internal team to streamline billing processes and address issues promptly, contributing to overall business success.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates to the executive team on account statuses, offering insights for continual improvements.
- Management of Defaults and Failed Payments: Assume responsibility for managing defaults and failed payments, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of experience in Sales or Client Services.
- Ability to meet retention goals and customer-centric KPIs.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
- Previous experience in billing, finance, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel, with strong analytical skills.
