PART TIME Billing and administrative work for an outpatient clinic located in DSM. Millennium Therapy is looking for a can-do personality to work in of the clinic that will provide a variety of work with a close team. Billing experience is not required, but willingness to learn new things is. Millennium Therapy is a patient focused, therapist owned, and therapist managed company that operates throughout Iowa, providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. Our interdisciplinary teams succeed through efficient communication and support from our local home office.

$17-$20 Negotiable

Part Time and Flexible Within 8:00AM - 4:00PM

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / BILLER QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school education or equivalent experience. 1-2 years prior office experience
- Ability to identify and manage details. Excellent interpersonal and communication and problem-solving skills. Requires ability to input data and understand Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as other various software.
- The position involves a high volume of work and requires managing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Requires a high level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks without supervision.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / BILLER REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly run required accounting reports and work identified problems for submission of billing. Collects payments as appropriate and completes daily cash logs. Verifies each patient’s insurance coverage and obtains prior authorization when required. Promptly addresses any denied or rejected claims and any outstanding balances for patients or vendors.
- Audits and tracks all information that belongs in patient medical files and ensures all files are completed prior to the closing of the files. General responsibilities include answering phones, office supplies, and office equipment, and assisting patients, therapists, and vendors.
- Communicates promptly, courteously, and efficiently to all incoming phone calls, customers, and vendors processing them in a timely manner.
- Provides correct paperwork to new patients and explains all information required prior to initial evaluation or treatment.
- Ensures adequate supply of forms, linens, cleaning supplies, paper supplies are available for staff and patient needs.
- Filing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
