Billing Representative - Trans-Care Ambulance

Trans-Care Ambulance is growing and we are looking to add to our billing team! We currently have an opening for a claims coding and billing specialist.  Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing reports for medical necessity
• Coding claims for proper payment
• Follow-up on claims denials and unpaid claims

The successful candidate will also cross-train on other billing functions within the office, including answering incoming phone calls and/or helping with collection calls when necessary.  This position is located in our Terre Haute, IN Office and hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Prior billing experience preferred, but not necessary
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
• Attention to detail is a must
• Must be able to pass drug screening, if offered employment
