Home Health Agency Billing Manager
Indiana Homecare Services is seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Operations-Billing Manager to enhance our overall program success and revenue cycle. This individual will be responsible for leading the billing and collections program, understanding and supporting the administrative team and non-clinical operations of the agency and ensuring that all duties are performed in a timely manner, operating effectively and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated and goal-driven professional person with the ability of excellent collaboration and communication skills. Knowledge and experience, with good ethical principles of integrity and accuracy in practices are a must. This individual will also manage and supervise other members of the staff.
The successful Billing Manager will be responsible for the coordination of all billing processes and procedures. This person should be proficient in billing and collections systems and accounts receivable, maintain patient accounts, monitor accounts receivable and demonstrate knowledge of payor contracts. Other responsibilities include reconciling Medicare reimbursement reports, performing billing audits, ensuring confidentiality, collaborating with clinical staff and supervisors to assure information required for accurate billing is received, and maintaining financial reports. In addition, this individual will assist the Executive Director as needed in other agency processes and functions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Accounting or a relevant field or comparable experience is preferred.
- Experience as a medical Billing Specialist, preferably in home care, with demonstrated expertise in Medicare.
- Demonstrated knowledge of billing regulations for Medicare and insurance processing, medical terminology and coding.
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for home care specific to reimbursement area.
- Information system knowledge in the areas of electronic claim submission and data entry/report generation and demonstrated computer efficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills, detail oriented, flexibility and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, process and leadership abilities.
