Billing Coordinator - Walters, Balido & Crain LLP

Job description

Walters, Balido & Crain is actively seeking a Billing Coordinator for our Dallas office. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has billing experience in a law firm.

This is not an Accounting (AR/AP) position

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute prebills to attorney(s) monthly
• Maintain monthly prebill status and follow up accordingly
• Edit prebills according to attorney edits and client guidelines
• Upload invoices to various electronic billing sites
• Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems.
• Assist with special projects
• Various other duties

Requirements:

• Prior legal billing experience (preferred)
• Experience in a law firm
• Ability to work independently
• Problem solve
• Multi-task and prioritize
• Show strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions thoroughly
• Be dependable
• Ability to communicate effectively with legal staff and attorneys
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Be proficient in Word and Excel

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
