We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Billing Clerk/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position within the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing, taking inbound calls, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is vital for maintaining our reputation for superior customer service and ensuring smooth financial operations. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all billing operations: You will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing, including preparing and sending invoices, tracking payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
2. Handle inbound calls: You will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inbound calls relating to billing inquiries, disputes, and general customer service questions.
3. Provide exceptional customer service: You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, resolving customer complaints in a professional manner, and providing accurate and timely information to customers.
4. Maintain financial records: You will be required to maintain accurate financial records, including customer information, payment history, and billing information.
5. Collaborate with team members: You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations, resolve any issues, and improve our services.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience: The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
2. Billing expertise: The candidate must have a deep understanding of billing procedures and experience with billing software.
3. Exceptional customer service skills: The candidate must have a customer-focused approach and the ability to handle customer complaints professionally and effectively.
4. Strong communication skills: The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
