We are seeking a Billing Assistant to join our Bethpage, NY team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with administrative, accounting and human resource operations for a professional office.
• Utilize ATLAS's financial system (BST) to assist the Branch Financial Administrator to create and maintain new and existing projects; manage and organize contracts; data entry of new vendors, new clients and vendor vouchers.
• Provide administrative support to project managers as requested including but not limited to answering the phones, ordering supplies, report production and maintaining files.
• Become thoroughly familiar with Atlas's policies and procedures.
• Collating documents for reports and billing.
• Interacting with field technicians to provide the necessary documents for the billing process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates degree or equivalent in accounting principles, business administration, office management or similar requested.
• Minimum of 1 year of office administration experience required.

Technical Requirements:

• Individual must be well organized and able to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced consulting environment and work well with others.
• Working knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel & Outlook is required.
• Experience working with any ERP System is a plus.
• Must be MS Office proficient, possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with minimum supervision.

Other miscellaneous qualities:

• Working vehicle and valid driver's license.

Compensation:

$25 - $30 hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
