Job Details
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Billing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company by managing the client billing processes and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing within the Corporate Accounting department. You will work closely with various other departments to gather and analyze billing data based on various fee structures while implementing continuous billing process improvements.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and generate accurate and timely billing calculations and invoices based on relevant investment agreements, management contracts, and fund documents.
- Reconcile fee calculations to underlying investment billing reports, performance summaries, and cash flow details.
- Analyze billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Utilize relevant software and systems to process billing invoices and maintain billing records
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary billing information and address any billing-related queries
- Address customer inquiries related to billing and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency in the billing cycle including technological enhancement.
- Work with the Corporate Accounting team in timely collection of outstanding billings.
- Support annual audit by preparing schedules and providing auditors with requested documentation related to billing
- Develop and enhance documentation of policies and procedures surrounding the billing process.
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiarity with general ledger software (experience in Sage Intacct a plus).
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client, investment, and company information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment (experience using workflow management software tools such as Box/FloQast a plus).
- Ability to work with large volumes of data.
- AA or BS Degree in a related field.
