About the role:

Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Bilingual Technical Customer Service Representative (French) to join their growing team. This role involves providing technical support for laboratory and industrial equipment, assisting customers with troubleshooting, and offering product recommendations in a customer-centric call center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with technical support for equipment issues such as pump failures and product setup.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support, helping customers with product recommendations and troubleshooting.
• Manage inbound calls, resolving issues and providing accurate solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Identify upsell opportunities during customer interactions, suggesting complementary products or parts.
• Process returns, provide pricing, quotes, and handle order entry.
• Ensure compliance with national security and export regulations, including end-user screening.
• Document product information and participate in process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams for product training and export compliance.

Qualifications:

• Language: Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Customer service or technical support experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AS400 and Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
