The Senior Art Director is passionate about creating fully integrated campaigns. They are always looking for ways to connect offline-to-online, and vice versa. A client doesn't always know the best way to solve a problem. So we need people who understand how to translate the business problem into strong solutions. Education

Bachelor's Degree in advertising, interactive or design related program

Responsibilities:

• Contribute original ideas for ad campaigns.
• Brainstorm copy ideas and possible angles for a client's ad materials. Conceptualizes, brainstorms, imagines, and develops creative ideas and executions for television, print, digital, outdoor and any other applicable media opportunities.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrate how your ideas tie together both brand and media strategies.
• Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met.
• Proven experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, specifically with mockups, design, and multimedia presentations
• Strong understanding and execution mastery of typography, layout, and imagery
• Solid knowledge of composition, color theory, and careful attention to detail
• Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams on accounts, planning and social media to determine client needs.
• Attend shoots and editing sessions and supervise production team.
• Oversees and approves executions throughout production process. Works with designers and producers to carry out multiple projects and oversee the work of directors, photographers, and illustrators on these projects.
• Responsible for creating the creative deck that will be presented to client (i.e. ideas, visual references, mock-ups, executions, etc)
• Presents concepts/solutions clearly and effectively within the agency as well as to client.
• Respond to feedback in a timely manner.
• Meets all deadlines while managing multiple projects.
• Delivers ideas and work that exceed creative expectations and client business goals.
• Displays curiosity about the latest marketing trends and digital tools and anything related to constantly evolving forms of communication and storytelling.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of advertising art direction experience required.
• Knowledge of and experience in the Hispanic market preferred.
• Fluency in the English and Spanish language is required.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience in generating ideas at an award-winning level.
• Current knowledge of all relevant software is required.
• A broad understanding of the online landscape is critical, as is a practical knowledge of executing work in the space.
• Portfolio or reel must display the ability to do work that appeals to diverse audiences and a range of clients and must be verifiable.
• Collection of work should include evidence of ability to create strong conceptual ideas in a wide variety of media.
• Additional desired skills but not required: Information Architecture, Oral Presentation, Animation, Motion Graphics, Technical Knowledge, Action Script 2.0/3.0, CSS, App Development, Illustration, and Video Production/Editing

Long hours are often necessary; including evenings and/or weekend work may be required. And there can be a limited amount of travel associated with this position. Conill is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. There may be times when lifting to 25lbs is required.

Compensation Range: $73,500.00 - $123,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
