We are a leading food production company that has been in business since 1997. We are known for supplying high-quality packaged and ready-to-heat/made-to-order Asian food. With over 900 retail locations and 6 plants, we are continuing to grow.
Currently, we are looking to hire a Plant Supervisor for our Atlanta facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all plant operations, and ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing systems, overseeing food safety standards, and ensuring compliance with HACCP regulations. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and warehousing.
2. Ensure compliance with HACCP regulations and maintain high standards of food safety.
3. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of plant operations.
4. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of professionals to foster a positive work environment and encourage continuous improvement.
5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
6. Monitor and control expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
7. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
10. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational, scheduling maintenance and repairs as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
3. Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and food manufacturing processes.
4. Proven experience managing and leading a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
10. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
11. Bilingual - Candidate's must be able to speak Spanish fluently
