The Clinical Pharmacy Technician 3 works in a team environment to obtain information needed for medications requiring prior authorizations.
In this role you will:
+ Use applications for multiple platforms needed to process and prepare prior authorizations requests requiring clinical review by the pharmacists.
+ Make and receive calls from members and providers to assist with the prior authorization process
+ Enter authorizations and reviewing member letters
+ Review and analyze prescription claims
+ Collaborate with other CarePlus departments in order to assist patients with their prescription needs

Required Qualifications
+ Must reside in the state of Florida
+ Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License
+ Bilingual English/Spanish
+ 1+ years experience in a Pharmacy Retail or Hospital setting
+ 1+ years in a position with data entry skills: specifically using Word, Excel and Outlook, with ability to easily navigate multiple applications.
+ Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with Medicare Part D
+ National Pharmacy Certification
Additional Information
Training schedule : _Monday – Friday 8am-5pm EST (approx. 3 months) Once training is completed you are placed into the team’s rotation schedule._
Schedule: _Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST or 11am-8pm EST schedule (_ _rotating schedules, must be available to work both)_ _Saturday and Sunday rotation is required, 1 weekend every 8 weeks_ _8am-5pm EST._
Home Office Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
+ At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
+ Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
+ Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
+ Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
+ Must limit distractions in work environment that would interrupt job responsibilities
+ Must adhere to attendance policy, which tracks tardiness, early leave, and unexpected call outs
