Our prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and have a strong background in personal injury litigation. This role requires an individual who is able to handle a high volume of cases, maintain strict confidentiality, and provide exceptional service to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence.
2. Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials.
3. Conduct legal research and investigations related to personal injury cases.
4. Coordinate and manage medical records, bills, and liens.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in both English and Spanish.
6. Organize and maintain case files and trial notebooks.
7. Coordinate and schedule appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
8. Provide translation and interpretation services for Spanish-speaking clients.
9. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
1. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of personal injury law and civil litigation procedures.
4. Proficient in drafting and editing pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
8. Proficient in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
10. Paralegal certification or equivalent is preferred.
