Bilingual Personal Assistant - OPPO US Research Center

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Personal Assistant. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position is located in Palo Alto, California.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the recruitment, interviewing, training, and supervision of household staff, while directly reporting to and receiving instructions from the employer.
• Efficiently manage the employer's daily agenda, including scheduling business trips and family vacations. Accompany the employer on business trips, handling all necessary arrangements.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the employer's home office. Undertake secretarial tasks like email management, call handling, and liaising with relevant contacts on behalf of the employer. Manage personal documents as needed.
• Take charge of the employer's domestic affairs, including financial management, daily errands, and overseeing home maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate and host home entertainment events. Represent the employer in welcoming guests, and arrange their accommodation and catering needs.
• Negotiate business matters on behalf of the employer and prepare contracts for review and signing.
• Assist in communication with the employer's children's schools and tutors. Offer tutoring support as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a personal assistant or in a related field, demonstrating proficiency in family management and service-oriented tasks.
• Strong organizational abilities, adept at time management, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
• Thorough understanding of business etiquette, meticulous attention to detail, and a conscientious and responsible work ethic.
• Patient, compassionate, and skilled at building rapport with both children and the elderly.
