Our Corporate Headquarters, located in Boca Raton, Florida, is looking to hire a Mortgage Loan Originator.

Job Title: Mortgage Loan Originator

Reports To: Team Production Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Sales

Division: Retail

Salary Range: Salary plus commissions

ALL REMOTE POSITIONS REQUIRE A DOWNLOAD SPEED OF NO LESS THAN 50 MBPS.

Summary: This position will educate, advise, and guide potential borrowers through the loan application process. Review and process loan applications, approve or disapprove loans within established limits by performing the following duties.

Duties:

• Provides applicants with information regarding the loan application process.
• Counsels’ customers with respect to credit needs.
• Obtains complete loan application including all support documentation needed to process the loan.
• Pre-qualifies potential loan applicants by analyzing financial background.
• Analyze applicant’s financial situation and hunts for possible loan solutions.
• Follows up on processing the loan by obtaining additional applicant information if necessary.
• Maintains communications between the lender and borrower.
• Establishes rate with borrower verbally and in writing prior to settlement.
• Explain legal aspects of the loan to the borrower along with payment terms and conditions.
• Understands and supports the corporation's policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all of the corporation's customers.
• Resolves any customer problems in an expeditious and tactful manner.
• Reviews and reports complaints received from customers and recommends corrective action to management.
• Advanced knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional Guidelines
• Build relationships with builders and realtors in the financial industry.
• Travel may be required
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 3 years prior sales experience required.
• NMLS Active license is required.
