Job Summary:
We’re seeking motivated Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. If you’re passionate about preparing fresh, flavorful dishes in a lively, fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to Paco's Taquería’s recipes and standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow, especially during peak hours.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
- Assist in managing food supplies and communicate inventory needs to the chef.
- Uphold our standards for portion control, food presentation, and flavor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Work Under Pressure: Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment, staying calm and focused under pressure.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Proactive: Take initiative in anticipating kitchen needs, preparing ingredients, and contributing to a smooth workflow.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
Training & Compensation:
- Training Period: 5 days to 2 weeks, depending on experience and learning pace.
- During training, work 4-hour shifts at $12 per hour.
- Post-training, start at $14 per hour plus tips.
- Regular performance reviews with opportunities for promotions.
