Palladino, Isbell & Casazza, LLC. (PIC Law) is a fast-paced, progressive immigration law firm located in Philadelphia. Our mission is to help immigrants, their families, and businesses seeking to hire and sponsor immigrants.
We are seeking a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking and a bilingual English- and Russian-speaking Legal Administrative Assistant for our busy Immigration Law practice. Candidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish or English and Russian. The position requires frequent interpreting.
Responsibilities
- Punctual daily opening and closing of the office
- Answering phones, taking messages, calling back clients and potential clients
- Greeting clients as they come to the office and informing staff their appointments have arrived
- Receiving and sending firm mail, which includes opening mail, scanning documents, and notifying clients/staff about received documents.
- Scheduling on phone or in-person, including new client consult appointments, existing clients for review or prep, and scheduling hearing notices and interviews on calendars.
- Handling payments, including through Square
- Completing forms and notarizing documents
- Organizing files, supplies, and front desk space
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school/GED required. Associates or bachelors degree a plus.
- Must be bilingual in English and either Spanish or Russian and have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Upbeat, positive, and patient approach to interacting with clients and colleagues
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Google Calendar and Zoom management. Ideally would have familiarity with Calendly, Square, Podio.
