Job Summary:
The Judge Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join the team of a growing food manufacturing organization based in Beaumont, Texas.
The HR Manager will lead all human resources functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our workforce of 50 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisition to offer acceptance, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
• Develop comprehensive onboarding programs to facilitate smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
2. Employee Relations:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Promote a positive work environment through effective communication, recognition programs, and initiatives that enhance employee morale and engagement.
3. Performance Management:
• Establish and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching to drive employee development and organizational success.
• Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and addressing performance issues proactively.
4. Compliance and Policy Development:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies, keeping abreast of changes and proactively addressing any potential risks or issues.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook to reflect best practices and promote a fair and inclusive workplace culture.
5. Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies, supporting career growth and succession planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with department managers to assess training effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
6. Benefits Administration:
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective communication to employees.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and facilitate enrollment or changes as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop proactive HR solutions.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office suite; experience with payroll and timekeeping systems is a plus.
