CSP has partnered with a distinguished independent international coeducational day school to support their search for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This position, based in Bethesda, MD, requires an on-site presence five days a week.
Position Overview
In the capacity of HRBP, you will serve as a strategic partner in talent acquisition, data governance, benefits administration, HR-driven initiatives, and organizational development. You will collaborate closely with department heads to implement HR strategies while ensuring a high standard of confidentiality and compliance. The ideal candidate will exhibit a blend of strategic vision, operational acumen, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and high-performance work culture.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (30%)
Success Criteria
- Achieve recruitment goals by successfully sourcing and securing highly qualified candidates within established timelines.
- Employ innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of top-tier talent, reducing time-to-fill and enhancing organizational capabilities.
- Receive consistent positive feedback from hiring managers regarding candidate quality and cultural fit.
- Maintain a highly organized and up-to-date Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes.
- Elevate the employer brand, improving candidate experience and leading to favorable feedback from applicants.
Collaborative Engagement (25%)

- Foster a collaborative, results-driven approach to working with colleagues, effectively supporting cross-functional teams in achieving shared objectives.

- Continuously monitor employee feedback on benefits, ensuring the program aligns with employee needs and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of proven HR experience, with a demonstrated track record in talent acquisition, data management, and organizational development.
- Experience in educational institutions or nonprofit organizations is highly regarded.
- Punctuality is a condition of employment, with a strong commitment to consistently meeting attendance requirements and participating fully in meetings and other organizational events.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is strongly preferred, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand both languages fluently. Experience with translation and interpretation is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and data protection regulations.
- Advanced analytical skills, with expertise in HRIS systems and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a service-oriented approach and positive attitude.
