Are you a seasoned HR professional with a knack for fostering positive employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management? Our leading food manufacturing company is searching for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our company's strategic direction, growth, and success. As an HRBP, you will be a key player in driving our HR initiatives and programs, ensuring they align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
As an HRBP, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, which will include but not be limited to the following:
1. Act as a strategic partner to the management team, providing HR guidance and advice on various business decisions and their HR implications.
2. Manage talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding to ensure we attract and retain top talent.
3. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, including coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.
4. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
5. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
6. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
7. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, including compliance with FMLA and other relevant laws.
8. Manage and administer employee benefits programs.
9. Utilize HR systems and tools (e.g., Kronos) effectively for various HR tasks and reporting.
10. Lead and participate in HR projects as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the HR Business Partner position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience as an HR business partner.
4. Excellent knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, employee relations, etc.)
5. Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
6. Good knowledge of employment/labor laws, including FMLA.
7. Outstanding knowledge of HRIS and MS Office; Knowledge of Kronos will be a plus.
8. Excellent communication and people skills.
9. Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
10. Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
