About the Job
Our client, a leading company in Chicago’s food manufacturing sector, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Human Resources Manager to enhance their HR function. This role, based entirely on-site, is essential to driving employee success and fostering a strong company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Development
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management, handling investigations as necessary.
- Design and deliver training and development programs that encourage career growth and skill enhancement.
- Lead recruitment efforts, manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, and attract top-tier talent.
Benefits & Compliance
- Oversee employee benefits, compensation, and leave programs, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.
- Keep the organization updated on labor law changes that may impact HR policies and practices.
Project Management
- Spearhead HR initiatives from planning through to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, adjusting as needed to meet targets.
- Develop and implement plans to drive meaningful improvements across HR functions.
Process Optimization
- Evaluate current HR processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with other departments to streamline onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Use data and metrics to measure the impact of changes and make continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience in project management and successful implementation of process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office; experience with UKG Pro is an asset.
