A Day in the Life as a Healthcare Customer Service Representative
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you play a vital role in our organization as the primary point of contact for our patients. We provide thorough training to ensure you have the skills needed to assist patients in navigating the billing process and resolving outstanding balances with care and efficiency. Through empathetic communication over the phone, you listen actively to patients, offering support and guidance to resolve their medical billing inquiries and negotiate payment arrangements.
Your empathetic demeanor and ability to swiftly address challenges while maintaining a positive attitude are crucial to your success. Even in the face of difficult situations, you consistently deliver exceptional customer service, resolving billing issues with professionalism and empathy. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service
Familiarity with healthcare billing and finance
Understanding of HIPAA regulations
Quick adaptability to new software systems
