Prospera Credit Union is looking for a Bilingual English/Spanish Branch Manager to lead our amazing member service team and deliver exceptional financial experiences. As a Branch Manager, you'll champion Prospera's Brand Promise and empower members to achieve financial prosperity. This role blends leadership, relationship building, and operational excellence to create meaningful member experiences.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Leadership (60%):
  • Coach and develop team members to exceed service and sales goals.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones to provide feedback and support team growth.
  • Oversee branch operations, ensuring adherence to policies and exceptional member experiences.
  • Partner with HR for hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Lending (25%):
  • Educate and guide members through lending options, ensuring accuracy in loan processes.
  • Meet and exceed loan volume and service goals.
• Member Experience (5%):
  • Build relationships with members to uncover and address financial needs.
  • Resolve escalated issues and provide expert product knowledge.
• Member Interaction (5%):
  • Open and maintain accounts, process credit applications, and perform notary services.
  • Provide support for complex transactions, ensuring precision and care.
• Administrative (5%):
  • Manage schedules, timecards, and cash vault activities.
  • Ensure branch readiness with supplies, equipment, and accurate reporting.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of related experience, including 1 year in management/supervisory roles.
  • Background in retail, cash handling, and consumer lending.
• Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required. A 2-year college degree or equivalent training preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills:
  • Passion for helping people and delivering excellent experiences.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Other Skills:
  • Attention to detail, math proficiency, and strong computer skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
