Job Purpose:To apply procedural, organizational and customer service skills in a variety of duties. Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience in a variety of office support positions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of secretarial and applicable office procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of operational procedures associated with terminals, personal computers and other peripheral equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of grammar, punctuation and syntax applicable to the preparation of keyed materials.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the public and fellow employees.
- Ability to apply discretion and appropriate security measures in handling of confidential Information.
- Demonstrated ability to adjust to fluctuating workloads and priorities.
- Gather information from existing and potential clients.
- Pivot clients to new product lines to be developed by licensed team members.
- Must become a licensed insurance professional.
- Receive visitors.
- Respond to routine telephone calls.
- Prepare reports, records, and information at agent's request.
- Establish and maintain files.
- Requisition Supplies.
- Assist in training of less experienced staff.
