Overview
MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for an energetic, customer service oriented and highly dedicated Bilingual Administrative Coordinator/Scheduler to join our TEAM! Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance with daily intakes for new client referrals
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Answering phones, preparing and handling complex communication correspondence
- Routine preparation of administrative paperwork, and assisting director in various projects
- Assisting with entering information into the EMR System
- Collecting co-pays
- Client facing front desk support and daily duties including in person and telephonic communication with the caregivers of our pediatric clients
- Provide assistance with scheduling clients and communication to appropriate staff
- Faxing and following up on patient care documents with referring physicians
- Takes initiative to continually work efficiently to ensure work tasks are kept up to date
- Promote good human relations with clients and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Word, TEAMS and Excel programs
- Comfortable speaking with families and therapist regarding schedules, services we provide and/or communicating important information
- Be able to read, write, and comprehend English
