Bid Research Analyst - Iron Bow Technologies

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis as focused relevant to Iron Bow’s core capabilities & service line, agency/customer targets, product segments, technologies, geographic markets & service delivery capabilities
• Support and participate in all business planning activities to include pipeline reviews, gate reviews, daily standups, and reporting activities.
• Populate, maintain, and manage all related pipelines and capture databases. Generate reports from these tools as required.
• Demonstrate the ability to bring creativity and innovation to the framing and structuring of research efforts
• Adjust to shifting priorities and last-minute requirements, to accomplish tasks.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of research processes, tools, and templates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required may be substituted for 5 additional years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years combined experience in the Federal government market with any of the following: competitor market research, quantitative analysis/decision in support of bid positioning, capture strategy, business development, cost and pricing or federal contracts/acquisition.
• Experience with vendor tools like Deltek GovWin IQ and SAM.gov.
• Expert user of Excel and manipulating public datasets, such as the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS); proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

• Excellent communicator - both written and oral

• Knowledge and understanding of Federal and/or State Government procurement regulations and practices (including FAR and DFARS)
• Ability to analyze information and make sound observations and recommendations quickly
• Keen listener, with the ability to quickly grasp ideas to be reflected in written documents and presentations
• Team-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills
