Job Purpose:
Management of Bid Opportunities, Documents and Proposals for electrical contractor.
Duties:
Maintain Bid List. Coordinate Site Inspections, Pre-qualifications, and submission of proposals for Electrical/Prime contractor. Coordinate the Bid Process from identifying leads, to final submission of proposals. Assist with all aspects of estimating including document management, coordination between multiple estimators. Organize and track request for proposals to vendors and subcontractors. Review and maintain documents through bid day, and assist with buyout and job startup with project team. Project values $1M to $10M.
Skills/Qualifications:
At least five years in contracting industry, preferably government contracting, industrial facilities. Four year college degree preferred. This is an administrative position not an estimating position requiring field experience. Must be energetic, communitive, with excellent writing and computer skills. Must be able to handle quick pace, fast turnaround and be focused in completing urgent tasks related to bidding. Must be agreeable, conscientious, a self-starter, reliable, dependable, responsible and trust worthy.

Salary commensurate with experience and abilities.
