Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Manager to lead our efforts in data management, analytics, and reporting. The ideal candidate will serve as a thought leader, driving the development and execution of our business intelligence strategy to support organizational goals and objectives.
Key Objectives:
- Support technology and business intelligence teams in data integration, storage, reporting, analytics, monitoring, and compliance.
- Contribute to the information strategy for key data areas such as customer, finance, and marketing.
- Cultivate strong relationships with franchisees, offering creative and practical solutions to navigate challenges.
- Monitor changes in data technologies and identify opportunities for improvement and implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the full data and analytics lifecycle, serving as a business partner and mentor to the team.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data to gain a competitive advantage, collaborating with leadership.
- Develop and execute the business intelligence strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage and mentor BI team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Own BI-related budgeting, planning, and procurement, including business case justifications.
- Oversee data integration processes to maintain a reliable data infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations and security standards.
- Drive support processes around data/BI platforms, focusing on continuous improvement.
Skills & Abilities:
- Organized, urgent, and accountable with a strong sense of initiative.
- Highly analytical mindset with ROI and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with various audiences.
- Ability to build trust and credibility and hold teams accountable for results.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in BI/Analytics with a proven track record of success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Redshift, Snowflake, Tableau, etc.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience in data visualization, statistical analysis, and data reconfiguration.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and security best practices.
- Track record of contributing to highly effective BI teams with a customer service mindset.
- Experience building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across departments.
- Depth of experience in implementing technology for efficient data loading and reporting capabilities, especially in metrics-driven environments.
