Beverage Production Assistant at SMV Recruiting

SMV Recruiting is currently working with a well-known, family-owned company in Syracuse, NY who is looking for a Beverage Produciton Assistant in Syracuse, NY. As a Beverage Production Assistant, you will be responsible for making batches of soda syrup, packaging the final product and loading products on a pallette and ensuring food safety. Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment by sanitizing the mixing tanks before and after production run
• Ensure the correct soda syrup ingredients with scales and measuring cups for the correct batches
• Create on average 800 gallons of soda syrup per batch with 3-5 gallon size containers
• Prepare dispensing equipment into the bags, glue the boxes together and palletize the product for shipment
• Work with the production manager about production schedules to complete goals in a timely manner

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience working in the beverage industry is strongly preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience creating batches of soda syrup is strongly preferred
• Experience packing and palletizing is required
• Ability to do basic math and calculations for receipes
• Ability to lift 60lbs daily to palletize products
