#### Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the processing of new hires, life events, terminations, and open enrollments via multiple carrier/HRIS platforms, ensuring adherence to all regulatory, carrier, and client guidelines.
- Administer and maintain the client's HRIS/benefits database according to onboarding, offboarding, and change requests.
- Complete plan builds, testing, and successful launches of open enrollment and ongoing eligibility maintenance within the client's HRIS/online enrollment platform.
- Perform monthly invoice reconciliation to ensure benefit elections align with carrier invoices, HRIS, and payroll deductions.
- Respond promptly to employee benefit/claim inquiries.
- Prepare open enrollment materials (benefit guides, PowerPoint presentations) and proactively guide clients through open enrollment events.
- Implement administrative tasks and processes to streamline efficiency tailored to the client's benefit programs (e.g., real-time reporting, payroll/HCM integration).
- Execute the process for building, testing, and deploying EDI file feeds between client insurance carriers and HRIS systems, including plan rule setup, extracting employee data, troubleshooting eligibility during testing, and regular file upkeep.
#### Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 7-10 years of extensive benefits experience, including the administration of various benefit programs such as Group Health, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental, Vision, Accident and Disability, Life Insurance, and Wellness benefits.
- Prior experience in a multi-client environment with medium to large-sized organizations (250+ employees) is required.
- Proficiency in ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA regulations, including monthly ACA tracking, error/warning corrections, and year-end review for ACA filings.
- Experience with the implementation of benefit administration systems, including building plans and loading rates in at least two HCM systems.
- Experience in the setup, testing, production, and ongoing maintenance of EDI file feeds is required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Active state Life/Health license is strongly preferred.
