Position Summary
The Benefits Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Benefits Billing Department, which includes managing a team of Benefits Billing Specialists. The role involves ensuring that the department is auditing insurance company generated billings and reconciling those against Vensure's payroll system. The Benefits Billing Manager is responsible for ensuring that the team meets or exceeds established department goals and objectives, and that all billings are processed accurately and in a timely manner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and supervise a team of Benefits Billing Specialists.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that all billings are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Audit insurance company generated billings and reconcile those against Vensure's payroll system.
- Ensure that the department meets or exceeds established department goals and objectives.
- Monitor departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and other third-party vendors.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to the Benefits Billing Specialists to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments within Vensure Employer Solutions to ensure that the Benefits Billing Department is working effectively with other departments.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the Benefits Billing Department
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field or equivalent
combination of experience, education (including other relevant degree or educational
programs), and certifications. - At least 5 years of experience in benefits billing and/or insurance billing.
- At least 3 years of experience managing a team of professionals
