Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review daily reports and follow up on open items as needed.
- Serve as backup assistance for employee and administrator access to payroll and benefit enrollment systems.
- Respond to incoming calls and emails, redirecting them to the appropriate team members as needed.
- Maintain and organize records for active employees, retirees, etc.
- Perform data entry and conduct data scrubs for accuracy.
- Assist with continuation of coverage processes for health and dental plans.
- Monitor and document employee termination data.
- Audit supplemental life, vision, and FSA enrollments and deductions.
- Update records based on information from the Human Resources team.
- Provide support in planning health fairs, vaccine clinics, and other on-site wellness events.
- Undertake other related administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (relevant work experience will be considered).
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits, or Communications roles preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); experience with graphic design, website maintenance, or webinar programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll and benefits software or HIPAA compliance is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and effectively communicate via email and telephone.
- Willingness to support and align with the corporate mission.
