We have an opportunity for a Benefits Analyst to join the Hasbro HR team! The Total Rewards team within Hasbro’s Human Resources department uses total rewards strategy, design and systems to support the desired culture and to enhance the company’s ability to hire, retain, and motivate employees.
Reporting to the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all employee benefit programs including health benefits, retirement benefits and the well-being and leaves programs. This position will be integral to maintaining a positive experience for employees and their families!
This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work onsite 3 days per week in our Pawtucket, RI office.
A day in the life of a Benefits Coordinator:
- Oversee accurate tracking and reconciliation of all 401(k) plans, Supplemental Plans, Health Savings Accounts and Deferred Compensation Plan administration. Ensure audit readiness.
- Support the accurate funding process of employee and employer contributions for 401(k) withholdings and Health Savings Account from payroll to record keeper. Initiate Supplemental 401(k) and Deferred Compensation plan distributions.
- Work with benefits administrator to include vendor site updates and file programs maintenance to meet Hasbro’s needs, resolve vendor case escalations, review and resolve payroll deductions. Communicate with multiple H&W vendors to resolve employee enrollment and claims escalations.
- Open Enrollment administration to include working with benefits administrator to update and test enrollment site and validate upcoming year payroll deductions and HSA employer contributions for accuracy.
- Oversee administration for accommodations. Meeting with managers, HR and legal counsel as needed to review applications, providing approval or denial communications, providing request to management for appropriate physical equipment if necessary.
- Coordinate with payroll and other departments as needed to verify employees are paid appropriately while on leave and verifying state benefits for offset. Ensure benefit related deductions are accurate.
- Monitoring the Leaves and Benefits email box, resolving complex inquiries questions and communicating with employees, managers and HR.
- Deliver and maintain positive relationships across a multi-functional team consisting of outside vendors/administrators, employees, managers, and/or contacting the Legal department regarding leave of absence and medical accommodations.
- Working with HR Enablement and Infosys to ensure that ongoing administration is timely and accurate to include updating procedures as necessary.
What you'll brin
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience across Health & Welfare and Retirement Programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, SuccessFactors and SAP knowledge is helpful.
- Outstanding verbal communication and written skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality is essential.
- Self-motivated. Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills, highly organized, and able to prioritize efficient planning.
- Excellent customer service skills. Team player working collaboratively with peers; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage through ambiguity, to show progress within multiple priorities and comfortable in adjusting approach and priorities to meet the evolving business needs.
Compensation Range, Currency USD:
- Starting Pay Range: $61,100
- Pay Range End: $91,600
