The Pay ranges from $23.29-$25.55
**2-3 years of experience out of a company - the LEAVE OF ABSENCE experience is A MUST for this role.
Required Skills:
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field required
- Specialized employee benefits or leave of absence certification(s) preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, or a similar function
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Leave of absence regulations, including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, statutory disability and paid family leave programs.
- Experience working with HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday and Kronos
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Ability and demonstrated confidence in working professionally with all levels of staff as well as external vendors and partners.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of sensitive employee medical and human resources information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain leave of absence processes and benefits in a clear, easy to understand manner. Virtual presentation skills a plus.
- Strong detail orientation with ability to analyze, problem solve, organize, and manage multiple priorities and excellent follow up skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated intermediate-level experience with computers, printers, and Microsoft Office products, particularly a high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
Project Description:
- Administer PTO, disability, and leave programs for U.S. salaried workforce (approximately 4,000 employees) in accordance with plan documents and applicable laws.
- Track, update, and follow-up on all open and upcoming leaves of absence, ensuring applicable people managers and human resources team members have up-to-date information and the Workday HRIS remains current
- Responsible for responding to and resolving employees benefits questions and problems, processing benefits transactions, communicating with health insurance vendors regarding eligibility and other benefit issues.
- Will also input data into the online system as it relates to benefits. The benefits analyst will conduct benefits orientation, manage benefits documentation and conduct benefit audits with vendors.
- Will assist with the open enrollment process.
- Someone who is an independent worker, not afraid to ask questions, they are evaluating processes and they have a leave eval team that is working to make constant improvements.
- Auditing reports - must have good attention to detail
someone who can liaise well with other teams. - Advising the plants and talking to the salary population.
- Must have great CS skills!
This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
