Pay: $45-$52 per hour
Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our client’s dynamic team. The position is full-time and based 100% in the office. The position is long term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- 401(k) Audits:
- Coordinate and support annual 401(k) plan audits, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Review plan operations to ensure compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and other applicable regulations.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in contributions, distributions, and participant data.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal regulations, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ERISA, and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
- Manage the accurate and timely preparation and filing of Form 5500 and associated schedules.
- Stay current on changes in federal and state benefits laws and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of benefits plans, audits, and compliance activities.
- Generate and analyze reports related to plan performance, compliance metrics, and employee benefits usage.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance benefits program efficiency and compliance.
- Employee Support:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding 401(k) plans, FMLA, and other benefits-related matters.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to resolve complex benefits issues and ensure accurate data processing.
Education:
Degree required
Experience:
Six years directly related experience with benefits preferably having worked for an organization with 250+ employees.
