The Benefits Analyst is an integral part of Compensation & Benefits Team. The main purpose of the role is to proactively handle all aspects of day to day benefit provision, be an effective and efficient point of contact for colleagues across all Maximus UK divisions (5 divisions, c. 5,000 employees) in relation to compensation & benefits queries as well as assist the C&B team on a variety of core projects
There will be plenty of scope for exposure across the full reward remit. The incumbent will be required to gain a very good understanding of the benefits on offer and support engagement and promotion among the workforce.

Salary Range:
Non-London £32,000-£37,000pa
London £35,000 - £40,000pa
•Act as an initial point of contact for employees, HRSC, HR Team, and Benefits Helpdesk
•Take ownership of benefits administration (inc. benefits invoice reconciliation, death in service process, investigating/fixing benefit anomalies)
•Act as the key contact between the organization and third-party benefits providers, maintaining provider benefit platforms with company information as required.
•Coordinate the annual benefits renewal process and lead on the platform testing
•Maintain the benefits information up to date and regularly undertake data audit across the reward info on HRIS system
•Provide reports, information, and analysis.
•Responsible for managing the compensation and benefits email inbox, responding to queries, and/or forwarding to appropriate people.
•Monitor benefits trends and legislation to ensure legal compliance and market competitiveness, making appropriate recommendations for change.
•Act as a main point of contact for the Civil Service Pension Scheme
•Assist Senior Reward Consultant with project work (salary surveys, annual salary reviews, pension compliance, reporting, etc.) and ad hoc job benchmarking research
•Provide administrative support to Compensation & Benefits Team
•Undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as may be directed by the Compensation & Benefits Director and/or Senior Reward Consultant.
Core Qualifications & Experience
•Proven experience in employee benefits administration role (inc. vendor invoice reconciliation)
•Basic understanding of health and risks plan benefits
•Previous experience with the flexible benefits platform and a strong understanding of the benefits renewal process
•Up to date knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to UK benefit and pay practices i.e. salary sacrifice legislation
•Good numeracy, analytical and Excel skills (ability to use V-lookup, work with large volume of data from multiple sources and to analyse & interpret data and draw conclusions)
•An understanding or willingness to acquire knowledge of pensions (inc. Civil Service pension) and related benefits is advantageous for this role.
