Benefits Analyst at Sparks Group

Job Summary/Company: Are you passionate about enhancing employee benefits administration while delivering exceptional customer service? Sparks Group is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Analyst to join a Northern Virginian local government Department of Human Resources team. Working alongside the Employee Benefits team and reporting to the Benefits Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operation of benefit plans and systems. 


Responsibilities:

• Facilitate timely processing of benefits enrollments, terminations, and changes 
• Maintain confidentiality of benefit information, fostering employee trust 
• Conduct meetings, prepare communications, and respond to inquiries to explain employee benefits effectively 
• Manage past due and missed payment notices, ensuring timely communication 
• Maintain accurate benefits records 

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• A bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience in human resources or a related field 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with strong analytical and mathematical skills 
• Ability to effectively communication with internal and external stakeholders
