Job Description: Benefits Administrator
Location: Onsite in Atlanta, GA
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, with a strong background in using UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) and managing open enrollment (OE) processes and vendor relationships. This role will ensure the smooth operation of our benefits programs and provide exceptional support to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
- Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
- Ensure benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA).
Open Enrollment (OE):
- Plan and execute the annual open enrollment process.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate updates to benefits offerings.
- Prepare and deliver communications to employees regarding changes or updates to benefits.
Vendor Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and benefits vendors.
- Resolve escalated employee issues related to benefits by working with vendors and internal teams.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure service level agreements are met.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain and update employee benefits information in UKG Pro.
- Generate and analyze benefits reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure accurate benefits deductions in payroll.
Employee Support:
- Provide guidance to employees on benefits options and enrollment processes.
- Address employee inquiries and troubleshoot benefits-related issues.
Compliance and Audits:
- Conduct periodic audits of benefits data and enrollment processes to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare documentation for compliance audits and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, with a strong preference for experience using UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro).
- Proven expertise in managing open enrollment and vendor relationships.
- Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
