•Support the Head of Business Improvement in successfully implementing the Business Improvement strategy through the application of continuous improvement and behavioural science methodologies across business operations.
•Deliver significant year on year return on investment through business improvement projects and initiatives designed to accelerate the pace of modernising service delivery and reducing costs whilst improving performance.
Salary Range
Non London - £48,000 - £53,000
London - £53,000 - £58,000
1. Deliver CI/BeSci expertise on identified projects to deliver significant improvement on revenue growth, cost reduction, business efficiency or customer satisfaction
2. Ensure that identified BI projects have a clear remit and benefits case ahead of project initiation, and then see those projects through to benefits realisation and impact evaluation
3. Work collaboratively to create a BI centre of excellence, with a specific focus on CI and BeSci strands
4. Establish and take day to day leadership for a community of practice in either CI or BeSci, promoting membership to ensure business coverage, support a professional development agenda to develop capability and then ensure localised BI activity is suitably targeted and supported to deliver tangible returns
5. Ensure a strong alignment between business improvement activities and the utilisation and development of progressive technologies to drive support the modernisation of the business
Identify opportunities for cross-business sharing of good practice or wider roll-out on improvement activities upon initial benefits realisation
6. Own, and be accountable for the Behavioural Science Strategy and its implementation across operational areas of Citizen Services.
7. Be the Operational areas point of contact (SME) for all behavioural science initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
1. Qualified at least Further Educational standards (eg; A level or equivalent), or qualified by considerable relevant experience.
2. Proven BI practitioner and professionally qualified to either:
a) CI qualification to at least green belt or equivalent and proven CI practitioner with a demonstrable track record of effecting process change, and/or
b) Demonstrable experience (preferably qualified) in BeSci and proven experience in its application

1.Proven project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Must be digitally literate and confident in working with a range of technologies (including Artificial Intelligence) to drive business improvement and engagement.
3. Good stakeholder management/communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and influence and persuade at all levels, and particularly at grass roots.
4. Good problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities for improvement and to co-create and generate new customer-centric solutions through to conclusion.
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and measure the impact and effectiveness of initiatives and ensure alignment with the organisation's performance indicators and quality standards.
6. Motivational people management skills, with the ability to lead, guide, and coach the BI community and other colleagues, supporting a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
