Job Title: Behavioral Services Psychotherapist

Location: Jackson, MI 49201

Shift: MON-FRI 8AM-4:30PM x 2 days and 12pm-8:30pm x 3 days.

Pay: $37.00/hr.

Scheduled Pay: Bi-Weekly

Psychotherapist Description/Duties

• Conducts diagnostic and psychosocial assessments and treatment planning to determine the appropriate level of care and services for patients and their families
• Provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and substance use disorders in children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients (as qualified) in an outpatient setting
• Provides urgent consultation/evaluations and crisis services as necessary to stabilize patient functioning and maintain continuity of care

Psychotherapist Requirements

• Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with 1-year supervised post masters experience OR
• Master’s degree in Social Work with 2 years’ post Master’s experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting
• Certifications/Licensures Required: Licensed Psychologist; OR Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed Master’s in Social Work
• CAADC (Certified Advance Alcohol & Drug Counselor) license (If don’t have, willing to have a developed plan to get licensed)
• Substance abuse and group therapy experience
